| Fundraiser I have put the word out at our rallies for ideas for our district to hold a fundraiser/outing for all our churches.This would be a great way to build up our district treasury for various expenses and the missionary,Judy Kanouse,which we support.Just as importantly though, it will also be a good way to bring all our congregations together for fellowship.Many ideas have been brought out and all other suggestions are welcome for this event,so put your thinking caps on.To the pastors/ministers,I will be contacting you all soon to try to set a good time for us to meet,maybe over dinner one evening, to discuss this.I really believe doing this will promote more unity in between our churches.I do hope everyone will be on board and as excited as I am about it.Thank you. | Kid's Mission Program Lighthouse Community Church will began a Kid's Mission program starting on 19 July at 5:00PM. This program will be held monthly on the 3rd Sunday of each month; for ages pre-K through middle school. Melinda Tidwell, Director. |
